Spiritual Perfectionism

Do you ever get so caught up trying to be perfect, to do everything right, walking a fine line that you forget to just be yourself?  I decided I needed to write this one just for me (Of course I hope you benefit too, as the more personal ones tend to!)

As much as I want to teach right now, let me just express (that is me talking to myself again). You see, we do have more than one side, and that is precisely what we’re on about here.

So, how do I live in my spirit and still live as a human being? Good question! I don’t. I mean, not always. It seems that sometimes, I am half the time here, and half the time somewhere else.  But in those rare times when I am consciously both here AND aware of my spiritual centre, I am at my best.

But that is not this post.  This post is about when I’m not. This post is about when I’m lost. This post is about when I’m confused, cranky, miserable, haven’t had enough rest, or just want to rebel and have a beer (or two). I am not perfect, and sometimes that is the greatest spiritual lesson of all.

AND, sometimes, sometimes, it is even necessary. Meaning that having FUN, and forgetting about my spiritual self, even for a moment, and delving into the purely human (evil? see that’s my Puritan speaking again!) self, connected to family, friends, and the everyday is just as  powerful, informing, healing and extraordinary as meditating, channellingor healing others (like at the Hive Open to Spirit series last week).

Krista having fun at The Hive

Krista having fun at the Hive

You know, sometimes I need a little TLC too. I need a little break from the SUPERconscious mind to just be good ole’ fashioned conscious and ALIVE!

WOW. I’m so rebellious sometimes. And that makes me laugh too, because I really don’t do that much wrong?…

EXCEPT – when I yell, get angry, threaten with a woman’s hormonal irrationalism, cry or just fall down and weep. That can be quite a serious thing. And when I do that, I tend to beat myself up that I’m not that spiritual after all. How could I fail? How could I be all that AND all those other wonderful things?

LIKE – heavenly, beautiful, funny, dynamic, silly, inspiring, singing, wonderful, remarkable, happy, transcendent and dreamy?

WELL…  Because I CAN be.  I was created to be in a body, that is real on the physical plane, attached to an emotional body that is somewhere within that responding to everything, connected to a mental body that thinks ALL THE TIME, and finally, a spiritual body that both CREATES, AND TRANSCENDS everything. You see? It really can be quite complicated.

SO… the next time you decide to judge yourself, look at me! I’m not perfect, and…

YET, I AM PERFECT, ANYWAY!

BECAUSE GOD MADE ME.

HA!

(That made me feel better, anyway. And hopefully, you too!)

LOTS OF LOVE,

FROM

ME.

P.S. Do you have a comment about your own spiritual “imperfections” – please comment below or send to me privately.  Thank you!

Angels Among Us

musical angel from cezarina and ka
I have come to an understanding that angels are real. This has always been a peripheral part of my belief, but never as tangible as recently.

A rudimentary understanding

When I was young I often believed in angels and drew pictures of them, or prayed to them as other children learn to do if they ever went to Sunday school. The modified prayer I liked in particular was:

“Now I lay me down to sleep

I pray the lord my soul to keep

May angels watch me through the night

And wake me with the morning light.”

Though comforting, this childlike understanding was just the beginning of what is possible in connecting with and being guided by the angelic realm. Learning that angels are actual beings and are always present can be a real eye opener as we grow in spiritual awareness.

Asking for guidance

In my adult years, I became interested in angels from the esoteric “new age” world through spiritual teachers like Dr. Doreen Virtue who published many varieties of angel cards to tap into our intuitive powers and ability to connect with the angelic realm and ascended masters like Jesus.  I used these cards to guide me through some difficult times, and always felt loved and supported when all was uncertain and decisions more difficult. My heart would usually point the way through the symbolism and messages I received.Healing-Angels-DT

Advancing in understanding

Recently my understanding and access has expanded to include channelled messages directly through me, and other colleagues I work with like Elizabeth Rose of Diamond Lantern.  Both of us had been channelling Jesus for some time, but something new happened.

In one moment, her head began to turn to the right as she saw with her inner vision a choir of nine angels that gave us distinct messages. Although I was skeptical at first, some of the content was too specific too discount. I too have begun channelling the angels and receiving both their energy and messages. It is always soothing, instructional and empowering.

Angels among us

On one occasion I was sitting with a young friend who had recently lost a loved one. She asked me if I could talk to the dead. I vehemently replied, no, I do not have that ability. Just as I spoke I felt a rush and the smell of roses came up all around me.  I looked at her, astonished and asked if she smelled anything.  She said she smelled them too. I asked the people around us, as we were sitting in a large theatre at the time, and the people around me said, no, they did not smell any roses. Nor were there any roses in sight.

20140604_100945

I knew then they were a spiritual sign from the angels or deceased loved ones. This smell has returned numerous times to me and always takes me by surprise.  Each time, I take a deep breath and say, “thank you.”

Opening to the Call

Becoming more open to their presence has occurred for me through my training in hypnosis and spiritual direction. As our channel opens and clears, we become better channels for true guidance. You can usually tell the difference because you may feel a heightened sense of awareness, relaxation and peace. The messages can be firm but are never forceful. They are always loving and of the highest purity.  Our own selfish wishes and wants can get in the way, so it takes practice, willingness and surrender to become more aware of their presence in our lives.

Can you do this too?

If it is a part of your path and desire, you may be able to develop your own intuitive gifts to communicate with angels. Angels have a funny sense of humour. They have probably been communicating with you all along! Just look for the signs: a white feather, a repeating word or pattern, a feeling you cannot explain, a synchronistic meeting with someone who answers your prayer or question, a meaningful dream that points the way.

There are many ways to talk to angels. 🙂

One way to connect with angels is simply to ask. Relax, go silent and listen. Or take up a paper and pen (or laptop). If you are in tune enough, you will receive an impression either in thought, word or perhaps a visual impression.  Take some time to contemplate the message.

Regardless if you get a clear “message” or not, angels are always there providing guidance in ways you can receive, even if you are not aware of them.

Have you ever met someone you felt was an angel?

Some even believe there are angels in the flesh incarnate come to guide us more specifically at this time in human history. God uses many who are on the path of healing, and indeed, God sends his angels too.  That I cannot prove. But, when it comes to matters of faith, is proof required? Faith is more of a feeling in your heart which moves you. And angels are very good at that.

Amen

P.S. Have you ever talked to angels or heard angelic messages? Have you ever felt their presence? How do they present themselves to you? Write in the comments below, or send me a message using the Contact page.

Prayer of the Mystic

jordan river from yourguidetoisrael

River Promise

Forgive yourself

For you are the river that takes the  bitter route

And finds the ocean swell around you like shoulders

Broadening and holding the most precious child.

Oh river, take me slowly at first

So that I do not get lost in tears of my own abiding

Show me how to wave my arms around rocks and groves

Silver and gold my underlings

Patterns softening and shaping the water

As old batteries are brushed aside

Promises of new year tides

Take me to the one promise I never told

Perfect and flowing

Ever going

Into the mystic of God’s perfect Arms

Enfold.

The Miracle is You

The Man on the Road

Courage only exists to dismantle fear.  If there is nothing to fear, we do not need courage.  But we do fear, and so we ask for what we need temporarily to show us we were wrong.

This is a story of a man walking down a road.

A man is walking down a road he has never been. It is dark.  He will likely stop for directions, if a house is lit, or he will rely on himself, or perhaps a flashlight.  Some things may jump out at him.

It is not comforting to stay in the dark, so he may seek out internal guidance, to ask which way to go.  He may be told to stop, or turn left or right.

If he keeps going the same way he will experience more fear because he didn’t listen and now is very much alone. He has no idea where he is going, and every noise bothers him. He has nothing to judge it against other than it is “not me” and so it is very scary. Even a bird in a tree will make him jump.

But if he sits down for a moment and asks, he will do one of two things:  He will either get up and leave and run fast back from where he came, trying to go where it is safe and known, or he will be told something new he hadn’t thought of.  This will be like a door appearing out of nowhere, something specific he can do, or something that leads him somewhere real and new.

"Open Wide Your Heart" website Mark Mallett

If he goes through the door, and feels the light of it (though he still may feel fear), he will make it to the other side and all will appear lit and new.  It will be as if the path he was on disappeared or transformed, or it suddenly made sense to him for the first time.  Also, there will be a hand, and he will not be alone.

What was scary before now seems just foolish and silly, something a child does when he is alone and protecting himself from the dark.

But now that he sees the door, and the path and the hand, all lit like never before – he has no choice but to step through or play the fool.

If he retreats back into the dark, it will likely not be as scary this time, it will just feel as if he is wasting his time.  He will now be more impatient with himself for not grabbing onto that hand and lifting himself out.  He may even shout profanities. Or he may even fall on his knees.

This is all silly and sad because there is no need to complicate things. It is only because he thinks he knows already that he won’t ask and receive.

For a moment, he has to admit, “Clearly, I don’t!”

So he asks again.

This time the door appears and light floods him.  It startles him a second time and he may experience fear because now he wants to be on top of it, to understand it.  It appears like he can command it, and yet he doesn’t know how it got there. But it is.  If he can’t control how this happens, how can he control what it does?

This frightens him even more, because now the implications of this light that comes is mind-boggling.  If he can’t predict what it does or where it might take him, he must shut it down.  It is too scary to comprehend.

The light seems to go on and off again as the man challenges God for a second or third round.  There is no end to the light, but he is growing very tired.  It is tiring to put up this front.

Then a wise man comes.  He is holding a lantern in his hand and standing on the road. He asks the tired man where he is going.  The man admits, “I don’t know.”  The tired man tries to explain himself but the more he tries to explain, the more he realizes it makes no sense and gives up.

The wise man laughs.

The wise man is real to him. He comforts the man. Offers a hand , but the confused man is still clinging to the dark.

The wise man tells him stories of another place, and the tired man says, “Oh, I know! I’ve been there once or twice.”

The wise man asks, “Then why did you come back?”

“Because I was looking for myself.”

The wise man responds, “Oh, I know. But did you realize you are going in circles and you’ve been this way before?”

“It couldn’t be!” The man protests, “I couldn’t see, and it all seemed new and frightening to me.”

“That’s funny,” the wise man said. “That bird’s been yelling at you since round three. When are you going to listen to him?”

“I didn’t realize he was talking to me. I couldn’t see!”

“And what are all these supplies on your back?” the wise man pointed and the other man sat back on a rock.

“Oh, I was hungry so I brought enough to eat for three weeks. And a knife and other camping supplies just in case, to protect myself so I could eat and sleep.”

“Have you slept?” the wise man asked, pulling the lantern up to his face.

“Not really.”

“Did you not notice that innkeeper at mile one waving at you to stop and eat?”

“I thought he was a thief and so I ran into the trees.”

The wise man just shook his head and let the silence speak for itself.

The tired man stood up, and the wise man asked him directly,

“Now, are you ready to come with me?”

Still, the man shrunk back, unbelievably, and dug his heels into the path.

“Really?” the wise man asked, “You don’t trust me?”

“How do I know you are not a thief, too?”

The wise man set his lantern down. And then he said,

“Here, take it. And go your way. Take as long as you need. But the light may not last long, and it is very dark indeed.”

“I’ll take my chances” the other man said and took his leave.

The man went on his way and thought about what the wise man said, and the bird, and the trees, and noticed the lantern was not as bright as it should have been. And he wondered if the wise man took the light with him.  But he was nowhere to be seen.

Huh! he sighed and sat for a time contemplating everything. He wondered if he would come back. Could he have been wrong about everything?  This is all not very flattering, he thought, and his shoes were beginning to leak.

Soon he wouldn’t be able to walk, he worried. Soon, he would have to crawl his way out of this giant circle. Or climb his way out! Maybe there was a wall, or was it some kind of giant trap?

Maybe this was a test of strength and he could still succeed. He decided to himself, “I will keep going at any cost. I will not give up even if this tiny light goes out. And I’ll have no thanks to give that man, either. I’ll show him.”

“And maybe”, he thought, “the wise man will even be proud of me. Or maybe there was somebody else on this path. They would come soon.”

But nobody came. Not for a long, long time.  And the man thought God was punishing him, and wasting his time. “Clearly, I am a miserable sinner!” he exclaimed, “and there is no hope for me!”

Where did this come from? Grief had suddenly stricken him and he bent up on the ground.

He cried it out and gnashed his teeth and cried out even more. Angry fists pounded the air and his stomach growled.

But who is listening? Who cares now? The bird was silent, and the man, the friend, nowhere to be found.

This isn’t how it was supposed to be! he thought. He remembered when the light had come how it filled him with dance and song. But he didn’t know if it would last so he returned quickly and came back around. Now there is nowhere, and nothing at all.

“Clearly, clearly I was wrong!” he cried out one last time.

The trees moved and a bird suddenly flew out and landed on his nose.  He startled and jumped, struck the air and then stopped and waited for a sound.

“Are you ready now?” he heard.

The light had come.  He awoke with a start to the sound of music, and people laughing and and singing.  He was under a blanket as if asleep, but just steps from a door slightly ajar. The light filled the room as he cracked the door open even more.

A giant room opened up to his sight and was filled with good cheer. Women laughing and dancing, children playing and running about, men eating and talking and whistling on the way in and out.  Like a circus or parade.  He stood dumfounded and rubbed his eyes.  He could not believe nor remember how he got there. No one had come for him, just that silly bird.

Then he remembered.

Up on the mantle he saw it. The lantern. Now with a glowing wick, and more lights glowing everywhere in the room. It looked like daylight though clearly he had been in the dark before.

He stepped forward and a woman ran over to him.

“Come!” she said. “We’ve been waiting for you.”  A giant bowl of soup she dished out with a ladle and gave him a spoon. The steam and smell reached his nose and lips.

He was sure this was heaven. And the man was still nowhere to be found.

The woman hovered round him again, “Darling, we were worried about you! You’d lost your way or your light had gone out.” She pointed to the mantle.

“But there was a man with me before, he would have come back. Did he?”

“What man, darling? This is where you live. Don’t you remember?  You set out to find something , but got lost in the woods. This bird found you, but now it is dead.”  She pointed to a bird that was now limp in a pale. The man turned white.

A bird found him? She must be crazy, or he is. How could this be? Oh! The bird, I killed it! He thought.

“No, there was a man on the road who was helping me, he gave me that lantern, but I didn’t believe him and then I took it and went on my own. I  never saw him again. Oh!” he cried again.

“Darling, this light is yours. You must have lost it in the night, or dropped it, and then found it again.  Clearly it is yours – your initials are at the bottom of it, see?”  He looked and saw the initials scrolled beneath the base. He didn’t recognize them or himself.

“But I told him to go away!  I wouldn’t listen to him, or myself, or that bird, or anyone!” He was delirious.  “I saw him, he was so real. And then he was gone.”

The man fell into despair.

“Darling,” she said again and wiped away his hair.  “That man is right here in front of me.  I see him as clear as day to night. You are here, my sweet. You are here!”

He wouldn’t believe her. How could this be?  An apparition came? That wise man was me?

She gave him some water and sent him back to bed. Clearly, he couldn’t see himself. She would love him back to health.

As the man returned to bed and accepted a gentle kiss from his wife, he stirred a bit and then had a gentle dream.

The sky poured open and the bird flew high overhead. It flew in circles round his head until it swooped down and then up and then disappeared into the heavens.

He was troubled then. Is that bird me, too? Or is someone trying to tell me something? Who is it that I am seeking? Where is it that I am glad and known?  My dear wife seems to know me, but who am I, really?  Please show me again, he thought.

Suddenly he felt a gentle tug in his head and a light he thought he had forgot filled him from head to toe.  He saw the bird again, resting on the hand of the man with the lantern.  He reached out to touch the wise man, and this time they clasped hands and stood directly in front of each other and smiled. He didn’t know who this was, but he was willing now.

Soon he found himself like the man with the lantern, walking in a miraculous field of golden lilies and birds of every colour flying overhead.  The trees were whispering to him and he was listening.  His heart was glad. There was no promise in him of tomorrow, and no plan of attack.  He just was, there, everywhere and everything. Resting in the universe of things.

The light was so strong but there was nothing to hold onto anymore, no lantern, no day or night. Everything was just shimmering and live in him. His heart was filled to bursting and he was not ready to come back down.  But something in him felt a presence all around him and a serene silence spoke to him that he could never speak of.  It was so great.

Do you see, now?

Now go back, your wife needs you.

The man, if he could be, was dumfounded . How could I ever leave you, this place? This magnitude!

He grew momentarily upset.

The light is in you. Take it with you this time and don’t ever let it go.

“The lantern?”  The man asked, confused.

No. You.

Then he knew. When it is dark, ask the light to shine in You.

And then he laughed, because he heard to himself:

And the next time you meet yourself, say hello.

The man laughed and cried in gratitude and then he awoke.

He shook with happiness in his bed at what he had seen, heard and felt. Then he noticed his wife was in bed sleeping with him.  He curled up beside her and pulled his arms around her and drew her in closer. And then he slept for a long, long time.

And he never, ever walked alone.

Amen.

The 3 Layers of Letting Go

butterfly flying free from cupped hands

Letting go is the cornerstone of living a life of peace, serenity and purpose. Having to “go it alone” or struggling to make other people fit our expectations is not conducive to happiness.

How do you let go? There are many ways.

Here are 3 Ways I have learned to let go…

AUDIO: The 3 Layers of Letting Go

1.  Personal Level – Letting Go of False Beliefs, Negative Thoughts & Patterns

Sometimes the shift is as simple as entertaining a sense of possibility. Not shutting down to “no” or “too late”.  Listening to stories of others who have “made it” or found a new path can be inspiring. Reading inspiring literature. Learning new mental habits of awareness. Opening your consciousness to the new.  Questioning any hard-line beliefs or dis-beliefs. Staying open to what’s true. Watching how you talk to yourself. Letting go means love. And loving yourself is paramount.

2. Relational Level – Letting Go of People, Institutions, Organizations, Situations, External Restrictions

This can be about forgiveness and opening to love in existing relationships. It may also require more honest questions about your growth.  Do you feel empowered and free enough to be yourself in your existing  circumstances? Can you create safety and teach others to receive you differently?.  Sometimes you can adapt your ways, but others can’t or won’t. If you don’t feel free enough, begin seeking partners and communities who will uphold the best in you, love you and want you to be yourself. It may be difficult, it may be painful, but if you have exhausted all avenues and have given your best, it may be time to love and let go.  Then pour your heart into a loving container of “peeps” who get you. In it you will be fed, and your new life will be given the right soul (and soil) to bloom.

3. Spiritual Surrender – Letting Go & Asking for a Higher Power / Self/ Spirit to Guide You

This is the most humbling of the three, and extremely personal, and yet completely impersonal. It is about something greater than yourself. A deeper vision, insight, or understanding.  A connection to your source of inspiration. If you can’t find it, ask. Seek. Listen. It will often show up in other people and new circumstances. It will invite you in. It will feel comforting and empowering.  Sometimes you have to scream and yell to be heard.  But this voice, inner nudge, intuition, Life force, Friend – will never leave you. You are a part of everything. Once you connect, you will become part of the flow of Life.

MORE WAYS TO CONNECT & LET GO:

Take 5 minutes in the morning, or while you are driving in your car, and just allow yourself to listen. Ask yourself how you feel, what you need, and be prepared to act on what you feel guided to do. What feels honest to you.

Try doing things differently for awhile. Writing with the opposite hand, taking a different route, going for a sensory walk at lunch, doing karaoke, or going too far. Letting go of the old (habits, clothes, schedules, burdens) opens you up to your inner yearnings and passions. You may discover a new talent, desire, or circumstance that leads to something else unexpected. It is all connected.

Seek support and encouragement. Find a partner, friend, circle or community where you can be yourself, and where growth and authenticity are paramount. We cannot do this alone. Letting go and changing is hard work. It takes commitment, but more than that, it takes love. And we cannot love alone. Find your “clan”. And watch the miracles grow!

Some Final Words of Wisdom:

“Letting go is trusting that your worst judgments about yourself and others are likely wrong, unfair and untrue.  It is believing the BEST in yourself and others and ACTING upon this new belief.”

“Although I fail to believe in myself sometimes, there seems to be something that has more faith in me. And when I let go, this faith is proven to be worthy and justified.”

“I have no goals but to live each day as an unguarded masterpiece.”

Do Clothes MATTER?

women and clothes

me prepping for video

Instead of writing a blog this morning, I decided to explore a question. This began by buying some new clothes last week in preparation for doing video, and soon became fertile ground for discussion (or argument!) among women and men. I began researching and writing about what it meant to me and others, “putting it out there”, and now I’d love to hear what you think:

Do clothes matter?  What is the meaning of clothes?

YOUR TURN!  Answer in the comments field below. I would love to know your thoughts. Let’s talk about it – the better or worse of clothes.  What it means to you, others, Godsends and conflicts.  This may turn into a greater discussion (it has!), or a live telecall (it will!).  HANG ONTO YOUR HATS – MORE COMING SOON!

In the meantime, some food for thought:

Clothes can become a more accurate reflection of what a woman does and who she is becoming in the world, including a variety of tastes, feelings and possibilities.  To a woman in full bloom, it cannot be denied how beautiful her shining petals and frame can be. The power of her expression and fullness cannot be underestimated.  If it is, she feels a wrath and bitterness that her very soul is being denied, not just her clothes. The conversation on clothes soon blends into a spiritual discussion as if the two are very much related.

QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER FOR YOURSELF:

What is the meaning of clothes to you? How does personal appearance influence your life? Do clothes and personal appearance influence how you see yourself or how others perceive you in the world? Should they?  Does what we wear matter? How? Should a woman spend money on clothes to better herself in the world? When does it matter? Does it interfere with her ability to blend in, to be a part of a group? Can it alienate people?  Can a woman shine without it? When has it made a difference to you in your life or someone you love, or where in your life do you feel it could?  Where in your life does it not matter, and how does it influence your relationships with others, your partner, friends, public, strangers, etc.?  Do you feel you may have missed any opportunities based on your personal appearance? Do you feel you may have been helped by your personal appearance in attracting an opportunity, partner or  group? (eg. Dating, job interview, community group).

And the deeper questions: Do you think clothes go against the spiritual dictates to turn away from material possessions, physical appearance, or “the world”? Do you feel we’re called to sacrifice our physical selves to be spiritual?  Do you feel clothes separate us or unite us, or both?

My video blog on the subject:

JOIN THE DISCUSSION – POST YOUR THOUGHTS BELOW – or join me on Facebook. WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU, TOO!

Day 21: The Miracle is You

I mean that literally. The Miracle is You. I’m not being generic or metaphoric or universal in any way. For the first time, I really get it.

I sang through the weekend doing the birthday thing, kids running amok, appreciating my family, getting uptight and nervous about the quantity of young guests, the unanticipated sleepover, the never-ending hangover of more guests on Sunday. The joy of an unusual full family dinner.

Now, as I swing back to my beloved friends of this blogging world, I get this sudden feeling of  connectivity, reciprocity, understanding…

This is not just about me. This is about You. The miracle that happens to me is the same miracle that happens to you. What I write, you also live. What you live, I somehow write. How does this happen? How does this miracle happen to us both at the same time, echoing each other? You may think, How did you know that? How did you say exactly how I was feeling at this moment in time? How did you say it just like that so that it sung to my heart, spoke from my true understanding, something I hadn’t even put into words before? This is all new to me too.

All I know is, I am doing this with you

It is a chorus, a harmony, an absolute symphony. I love to write, and you hear my voice. But you don’t just hear me, you hear You! This is bizarre. Amazing. I am singing your song as much as I am singing mine. Maybe we are singing the same song!

I am honoured to be the one putting down the words because it is easy for  me. As Lady GaGa says, “I was born this way!” But maybe for the one who is tongue-tied or whose heart is torn apart, and can’t even begin to know how to express ‘that’, I am their God-send. Literally. That is not arrogant. As Marianne Williamson says echoing A Course in Miracles, it is not arrogant to recognize your God-given talents and use them. It is humble to witness their impact, to see God’s work at hand. To fall down on your knees and say, Thank you for using me at last!

Thank you.

Thank You for being here, for listening, for understanding, for being, for responding. Thank you for singing your chorus, your harmony. Your wave of passion, happiness, devotion.  I love our evolving collaboration, our co-witnessing each other, our evolutionary striving for something greater. An awakening of seismic proportions. Beyond Katerina, Beyond tragedy. This is the response to all of that. This is the Hope. The Dream. The Great Call to Freedom at last! This isn’t about race, sex, age or religion. This transcends all borders and boundaries we ever thought we had. This is Love itself calling to our own Selves. We are recognizing ourselves in each other’s greatness. We are witnessing the possibility of what we can be together.  Supporting each other in the Climb that has  nothing to do with ceilings or enemies or friends. This is wider, deeper, faster and more incredible than anything we ever thought we were or had. This is the mountain without peak, the river without end…

Dear God, make us Great. Make us tall. Make us realize our own potential in each other’s eyes. Let us witness and make a pact: Never again will we act small, pretend we don’t know anything. Hide in the branches of our own greatness, only to swing when we are alone. Let us join our hands. Clasp on for dear life. Let’s sing our hearts out in this, our Collective Song.

There’s no denying when you’ve heard the Call.

There’s no denying when a Miracle is born.

Thank you, God for hearing mine.

Amen.
